Gone with the Wind is a movie about love, struggle in survival set during the American Civil War in the years that follow the story centers around Scarlett O'Hara, a determined young woman living on her family's plantation called Tara. Scarlett is beautiful and charming, but she can also be stubborn and selfish at the start of the movie. She is in love with Ashley Wilkes, a man who is engaged to her sweet and gentle friend, Melanie Hamilton, this love triangle, set the stage for a lot of the drama in the movie. Melanie Hamilton, who is the kind of caring friend plays important role in the story as well. She is supportive and loyal always standing by Scarlett. As the war dragons on the south southwest defeat in scarlet, old, luxurious life begins to fall apart. Tara, what's a thriving plantation becomes a shadow of it for myself, and Scarlet faces poverty in loss despite this her determination shines through.
